Tekcentral is an Irish owned business that originated in Wexford. Our in-house engineers and technologists develop and deliver our own curriculums and programmes. All our programmes are designed to teach our students the principals of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM) we cater for children and young adults from 8 to 18 years of age.

Tekcentral has a number of vacancies for class tutors and assistants to operate on a part time basis.

The roles will require:

• You to lead or assist groups of children in STEAM related activities in various environments including birthday parties, camps, in-school workshops, after-school classes and gaming sessions.
• You will visit schools in your area to conduct in-school workshops & after school workshops
• You will use Tekcentral lesson plans to conduct classes.
• You will monitor students’ progress through their learning records.

Hard requirements:

• Ideally you will have teaching experience or have worked with children in some professional capacity.
• You will need to have excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic personality.
• You will need to be able to engage children at their level.
• You will have excellent customer service and be able to interact with parents, teachers and other service users.
• You will need your own car and be flexible with the hours you can work.
